Healthy Start Evaluation Webinar 2: Engaging Community Members in Data-Related Decisions
The Division of Healthy Start and Perinatal Services (DHSPS), in partnership with Westat, the Healthy Start evaluation contractor for Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA), hosted a series of two Healthy Start evaluation webinars. The goal of the second webinar, Engaging Community Members in Data-Related Decisions, was to provide a resource for Healthy Start grantees to describe the performance measure on engaging community members in the process of data collection, analysis, and reporting. Grantees must report this performance measure in the annual Non-Competing Continuation (NCC) progress report. Westat reviewed approaches to support data equity and shared examples of activities in the different phases of the data life cycle to engage community members in data-related projects.
