2020 Grantee Meeting Plenary: Fostering Partnerships to Support Maternal Health

This session was part of the 2020 Healthy Start Grantee Meeting. This plenary featured leading national experts in maternal health. The speakers defined key terms in birth/reproductive justice and equity and described how birth/reproductive justice frameworks can translate to partnership development. They outlined opportunities to partner with others and sustain this work on the local level, including describing how doulas and nurses can work collaboratively. Finally, they discussed the impact of COVID-19 on maternal health and shared lessons learned during the pandemic.
