2020 Grantee Meeting Breakout Session: Lifeline Help Your Clients Access Phone/Internet for Tele-Healthy Start

This session will provide an overview of the Lifeline Program, a Federal Communications Commission (FCC) benefit program that lowers the monthly cost of phone or Internet service for eligible low-income consumers. Eligible consumers can receive up to $9.25 per month toward home or mobile phone service or high-speed broadband, and up to $34.25 per month for those living on Tribal lands. The speakers will walk you through how to apply, who qualifies, and how to assist your clients with the process. The FCC will be joined for this presentation by the Universal Service Administrative Company (USAC), which administers the Lifeline Program for the FCC.
