Co-Parenting Learning Academy Goal
The goals of the Co-Parenting Learning Academy are to 1) examine the breadth and depth of social welfare policy in the 20th and 21st centuries, 2) explore the policies and practices that have influenced the focus on mothers and children and have excluded fathers from family support systems, and 3) redefine “co-parenting” as it has been integrated into current MCH practices. Dr. Jeffrey Johnson, President and CEO of the National Partnership for Community Leadership (NPCL), served as the Dean of the Co-Parenting Learning Academy.
