Introduction to Telehealth and Considerations for Healthy Start

During this webinar, Dr. Jonathan Neufeld of the Great Plains Telehealth Resource and Assistance Center will provide an overview of how telehealth is used to deliver care. Dr. Neufeld also presented a framework for planning to use telehealth to deliver care and services in a Healthy Start setting. The other expert speaker on the webinar was Ms. Mary Zelanzy, CEO of Finger Lakes Community Health in New York, who shared how telehealth has helped them overcome barriers to service delivery, such as transportation and language. Ms. Zelanzy also described how they provide behavioral health and other pregnancy-related services through telehealth.
