Informational Webinar – AMCHP Community-Rooted Evidence (CRE) Workgroup

November 9, 2026 @ 3:00 pm - 4:00 pm
EST

Join the Healthy Start Technical Assistance & Support Center (TASC), the Association of Maternal & Child Health Programs (AMCHP), and REACHUP Inc. for an informational webinar about AMCHP’s Community-Rooted Evidence (CRE) Workgroup.

As defined by AMCHP, community-rooted evidence (CRE) is the knowledge, experiences, and stories from communities that show how well a program or policy works for them. This approach values often overlooked expertise by focusing on success defined by the communities themselves, based on their unique needs and solutions.

Healthy Start grantees have the opportunity to participate in the next cohort of AMCHP’s CRE workgroup. AMCHP will offer stipends to a select number of interested Healthy Start sites to apply for the workgroup.

During the webinar, a representative from REACHUP Inc. will share their experience in the inaugural workgroup and the impact on their site’s data collection and storytelling. AMCHP will then discuss the focus of the upcoming workgroup and the selection process.
