What are Healthy Start Family Activities?
The Healthy Start TA & Support Center’s (TASC) Healthy Start Family Activities provide a space and opportunity for Healthy Start (HS) consumers, staff, and partners from around the nation to lift HS consumer voices, activate consumer agency, and build a shared vision for a national HS consumer platform. HS consumers will be able to build community and be provided with training opportunities that build their skills and activate their agency to show up as advocates and advisors in the MCH ecosystem.

Healthy Start SPA - Support, Purpose, Affirmation
The Healthy Start TASC launched the SPA – Support, Purpose, Affirmation, facilitated by Consumer Leaders, Amanda Henley, Dakisha Mitchell, and Tamela Milan-Alexander. Built from the energy, motivation, and joy that still fuels many who attended the Consumer Convening, the SPA is designed specifically for and open to all HS consumers to come together to:
- Support and celebrate each other through our struggles and successes
- Share information about additional resources and opportunities
- Dream together about the future possibilities of a national HS consumer platform
