Breastfeeding & COVID-19 Webinar Series: Session 1

To support Healthy Start grantees in providing virtual breastfeeding support and meeting the breastfeeding benchmarks in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic, the Healthy Start TA & Support Center hosted a four-part Breastfeeding & COVID-19 webinar series. During the first webinar, Cathy Carothers, IBCLC, FILCA of Every Mother, Inc. Cathy provided an overview of the latest evidence related to COVID-19 and breastfeeding, discussed any health or safety concerns, and shared strategies for supporting staff mental health during the pandemic.
