Hear from Your Peer: Digging Deeper into a Community Engagement and Systems Change Approach

This session featured staff from the Division of Healthy Start and Perinatal Services, the Boston Public Health Commission, and the Tamarack Institute. They provided an overview of Collective Impact, including the five conditions of Collective Impact that together lead to meaningful results: Common Agenda, Shared Measurement, Mutually Reinforcing Activities, Continuous Communication, and Backbone Support. They also shared strategies for implementing Collective Impact in a Healthy Start project.
